It is the updated version of my previous work. I wasn't perfectly happy with some stuff, like her hair, while some I wanted to change because the character got more refined in my mind as a bit of time went by. The (oddly shoe-laceless) boots gave way to ankle-supporters (even though I HATE drawing feet, because I SUCK at drawing the toes in particular) and her kneepads got the boot(-s?), leaving her knees bare and even more lethal for the attacks he like to deliver with them. Also she got her hair shaved shorter, so it wouldn't get in the way so much (really because the long, braided ponytail was hidden behind her and just didn't work like that).
I decided I'd go with my buddy's suggestion about her name and make her, like my original concept before I ever started drawing her, South-American/Latino, a mixed martial artist turned professional wrestler.
I'm hoping Mikazuki is still interested in giving her colors. (^_^)
'WINTER break'? (O_o) Man, that'll be SOME wait... Well, not like I'm going anywhere and I know I'll get a big kick out of seeing it once it's done, so thank you. (^_^)
Nice lines on this one. I also like her big legs, and the roundness you have depicted in her arm and chest muscles.
There are a few flaws that bug me- her arms look short, and the muscles on her forearms are a bit odd- those big bulges on the outside of her forearms are a nonexistent muscle I think- or else they are misplaced. Also, her chin is a bit strong/large for a gal.
Finally, on drawing toes- the ones you've done aren't bad, but could be better- generally, the toe grows out from the foot, then comes to a knuckle. From this knuckle, the toe descends a bit, like a tiny little stairstep, and proceeds to the toenail and end of the toe. This is the way the big toe and the middle 3 toes are. The little toe is more like the toes you have drawn here, but it can vary widely from person to person.
Anyway, nice work, and hope to see more from you in the future!
Thank you for the GREAT feedback. I'll try and take it to heart. I'm still VERY much in the phase of developing my style, so it's great to get tips like this. Looking at it now, I agree with each one. Hopefully you'll like the next one of this genre even more. (^-^)
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
